Nitya Rao

Author, Photographer, Blogger

Nitya Rao is a seasoned traveller, author, blogger, social worker, photographer, and spiritual practitioner whose journey reflects a life dedicated to creativity, compassion, and service. His diverse experiences, from exploring remote landscapes to immersing himself in humanitarian work, have deeply enriched his understanding of humanity. Nitya played an instrumental role in disaster relief efforts during two of India’s most devastating earthquakes—in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, and Bhuj, Gujarat—where he contributed to rebuilding lives and providing essential services to affected communities.

In Wada, Maharashtra, he worked closely with tribal communities, especially in the village of Gargaon, where he introduced sustainable income-generating initiatives. He taught local villagers how to make eco-friendly seed pens and coordinated the production and sale of handmade bags, supporting financial upliftment and environmental awareness in the region. He is the author of Whispers of the Soul and Faces of Humanity: 18 Narrative Snapshots Capturing the Essence of the Human Spirit, with three additional books currently in development. His works explore the complexities of human emotions, weaving tales that resonate on a deeply personal level.
